Day 1: Arrive Tokyo

Met on arrival at Narita or Haneda Airport. You’ll be handed all of the documents for your trip including the Japan Rail Pass. Then escorted to the boarding point for the shared, shuttle bus. On arrival at your hotel you will be provided with an IC card to be used on buses and trains. Hotel: Shiba Park Hotel for 3 nights

Day 2: Tour of Tokyo

Full day of touring in Tokyo with your guide. Highlights include the Meiji Shrine, Omotesando, Asakusa District, Sensoji, a Sumida River Cruise and Hamarikyu Gardens.

Day 3: Tokyo

Full day at leisure to explore Tokyo by yourself.

Day 4: Tokya to Hakone

Take the train south to Hakone, one of Japan’s most famous hot spring (onsen) areas. Included in your tour is a 3 Day Hakone Freepass which allows you to use various types of transport to see the main sights of Hakone. Hotel: Susukinohara Ichinoyu with private open-air bath for 2 nights

Day 5: Hakone

Full day at leisure to explore Hakone by yourself.

Day 6: Hakone to Kyoto

Travel by bullet train in 2 hours to Kyoto. Hotel: Noku Kyoto Hotel
for 3 nights

Day 7: Kyoto

See the main sights on this full day unique tour of its classic cultural treasures. Highlights include Kinkakuji Temple, Nijo Castle, Heian Shrine and Kiyomizudera Temple.

Day 8: Kyoto

Full day at leisure to explore Kyoto by yourself.

Day 9: Depart Kyoto

Morning at leisure before your shared shuttle bus transfer to Kansai Airport, Osaka.
